The new Visitor Information Centre is located on Yellowhead Hwy 5 and is equipped to deal with all travel needs.
Valemount is the perfect photography destination, as it is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in British Columbia, such as Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Cranberry Marsh is also located here and boasts a 600-acre wildlife sanctuary a few kilometers south of the village, where it is houses over 90 species of birds as well as beaver, otter, moose and deer.
